Favourites: Red Lipsticks

I am a big lover for lipsticks, the brighter the better. I have gone through my lipstick collection and picked out my top favourite red lipsticks.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 01

This is a very long-lasting lipstick but that does come with it being quite drying. However put a good lip balm as a base and that will help with it drying your lips too much. It's a matte finish and it's a true letterbox red. It drys very quickly so you need to work with it fast.

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 110

The Kate Moss lipstick is a light red matte finish. I really like this one as its inexpensive and can last through the day. You can have a sweep of it on your lips or you can build it up to be bolder.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Hot Pepper

The Bourgois Rouge Edition Velvet is similar to the Sephora one with it being a cream stain but it leaves a lovely finish. You have more time to work with this one as it doesn't dry instantly but it does last on the lips. 

Chanel Rouge Coco in Arthur

This is a new addition to my continually growing collection. It has a creamy buttery texture, very long-lasting as well as being moisturising. Its a red that is easily wearable for night and day. A classic red from Chanel.

Mac Ruby Woo

The last in my favourites is Mac Ruby Woo. It's a retro matte with great lasting power. I would say its slightly on the darker side of a true red but you can easily tone it down if you wanted to.
