WELCOME TO NEW ZEALAND!
New Zealand is the place to go to experience new and exciting things so, whilst visiting there back in April to see my Dad, I took the oppurtunity to try something new.
One of the highlights of my trip was parasailing over Lake Taupo.
For someone who is afraid of heights I was, and still am, pretty impressed that I did this (adrenaline definitely took over!)
New Zealand is beautiful, everywhere you turn is a stunning view and a photo opportunity, especially for a click happy photographer like myself! Some places I would highly recommend to visit on the North Island include Raglan, a small beachside surf town with chic cafes and boutique shops. My recommendation for a delicious healthy breakfast is at The Shack, they also do a great variety of smoothies and juices too.
Napier is well known for a few reasons for one its art deco architecture, due to the Hawkes Bay Earthquake in 1931, secondly it is set in the Hawkes Bay wine producing region. Whilst walking through the city centre I felt like I was transported back to the 30s.

The capital city Wellington is a must to visit. It has such a cool and laid back vibe to it whilst we were walking around. They have the Te Papa Museum of New Zealand located in the city which I highly recommend a visit to. Currently they have the Anzac exhibition where there are giant figures of soldiers that look incredibly life like.
Russell is situated in The Bay of Islands at the top of the North Island. It's a small town popular with tourists for its history with European settlers.

WHALE BAY, RAGLAN

I've had the chance to visit New Zealand twice now and it was just as amazing as the first time I went.
Hopefully it isn't too long before I can go back!
