I spent a lovely afternoon in Lacock, a village close to where I live, to take advantage of the last of the warm days. I love walking around there as it is so picturesque with lots of independent shops to look in. My sister and I stopped off at King John's Hunting Lodge Tea Rooms for some Cream Tea.
Lumb - I believe this is a unique receive to these Tea Rooms |
The Tea Room had a really cosy feel and had lots of homemade cakes on a dresser. There was an abundance of things to look at on the walls and ornaments to see on the dressers.
The gardens alone are worth taking a stroll through. Lots of greenery, flowers and a pond.
I really recommend this place, the Cream Tea was delicious and I am sure their lunch menu is just as good.
Thanks for reading.
