Christmas Makeup Look

I am really looking forward to Christmas this year so I wanted to share with you the Christmas look I will be reaching for this Christmas. I've gone for a glittery eye, a bold lip and a gorgeous highlighter.

Make Up Forever Full Cover in 03 Light Beige
I splashed out on this concealer when I was on my holiday earlier in the year in Rome and I am so happy I did. It is one of the best concealers I have tried, It is up there with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I have a prominent blue vein under my eye which this concealer conceals with a thin layer.  This is the first step to my makeup so I dot this around the areas of my face that I have redness, a spot and under my eyes.

MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo
For the lips i've gone for a matte red, a traditional Christmas colour. This MAC lipstick is very long-lasting so great for those Christmas Party nights. I layered this lipstick on top of a Kiko lip liner which I talk more about below.

Mac Studio Fix Powder in NW20
I normally just use a concealer and then a powder rather than using foundation. I really like this powder as it gives a very nice coverage. They have a great range of shades so your skin colour can be matched really well.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4 in 1 Mascara
This mascara is fairly difficult to buy in England but after receiving a sample in a beauty box I had to buy the full size and luckily QVC stock some Tarte products. This mascara adds volume and length to the lashes which is perfect for my Christmas look for both day wear and evening party.

Collection #BlushandGlow Blush Palette
This palette is amazing especially for its £4.99 price tag. For my Christmas makeup look I use the bronzer, matte blush on the left and the gorgeous highlight. They are all very pigmented by far my favourite is the matte blusher on the left it leaves a really lovely flush on your cheeks and also the highlighter leaves a gorgeous glow with a hint of shimmer. I highly recommend this palette!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette, Naked 2 in Half Baked
This is my favourite eyeshadow palette, the pigment of these shadows are amazing. They last so well, blend so easily and can be built up for evening looks and toned down for a day look. The shade I went for is Half Baked, a stunning gold shimmer shade with plenty of sparkle.

Kiko Smart Lip Pencil
Before applying my lipstick, I used this lip pencil first. As well as lining all the lip I also coloured my lips in to give the colour more long lasting power. These Kiko Lip pencils are very creamy and so easy to use and at £2.50 you really can not go wrong.

What is your go to Christmas look?

S.
